Q1 How do I get started?

Download and install a program using the browser in your mobile phone*. Access the Internet from the mobile device and open the Mobile Trading Channel by typing the following URL: http://mobile.limtan.com.sg

* Only for mobile phones with Symbian operating system.


Q2 What is my login ID?

Please note that the Login ID is your Online Trading Account number.

For clients with Online Margin and Online CFD accounts, the Login ID would be your default Online Trading Account no.

To check your default Online Trading Account no., login to limtan.com.sg,  click on  Personal Configuration -> Trading Details -> Default account.

Q3: What is my Mobile Login PIN?

For VAST users, the Mobile Login PIN is the same as your current VAST login PIN number.

If you do not have a VAST PIN, you may request for a 7 digit numeric PIN by calling our Online Trading helpdesk at 6799 8188
or email us at online@limtan.com.sg

You will be prompted to change PIN on your first login.

Would changing PIN affect my Internet password? Back to top

No. It will not affect your Internet Login because it has a different password.



Q5:
Are my Internet orders linked to the Mobile Trading Channel? Back to top
 
Yes. All orders placed through the Internet, VAST or Mobile Channel, go to the same order book. You can view, amend, withdraw and place new orders using any of the 3 channels.



Q6:
Can I view my watchlists created via the Internet platform? Back to top

Yes. Watchlists created via the Internet can be viewed on your mobile device. Please note that your mobile device can only display up to 10 lines in one page. To view the other counters in the watchlist, select “Options”, “Next Page” 

For greater convenience and easy trading, you may want to create a separate watchlist on the Internet for easy viewing on the mobile device.

What the the commission and charges for trading via the Mobile Trading Channel? Back to top

Commission and charges, including the minimum brokerage, are the same as per trading via the Internet Channel.

Are there any fees for accession the Mobile Trading Channel with my mobile phone? Back to top

Yes. There are mobile data fees charged by your telecommunication service provider when using high speed mobile connection.

If you are using WiFi, fees may still apply.

Please check with your respective service provider for the fees.

Can I access the Mobile Trading Channel when I am overseas? Back to top

Yes. As long as there is Internet connection on your mobile phone, you can access the Mobile Trading Channel. Internet connection can be via high speed mobile connection or WiFi. Please check with your telecommunication service provider for the fees.
